WELL WASN'T THAT FUN?
We knew it would be a great show, and the girls certainly didn't disappoint. The Carolina Rollergirls put up a darn good fight in the first interleague bout between these two teams, but in the end the Minnesota RollerGirls rolled away with an astounding 237-173 win. But man, those Carolina girls could skate and block! Nice job girls. And for all the local fans, it was a treat to see all the league favorites working together to make a super-team of Minnesota RollerGirls stars.

Here are some highlights:
- The introduction to Roxy Rockett (of Carolina) who shot out of the pack to take lead jammer in 4 of her 6 jams.
- They way Lizzy the Axe as a jammer kept blocking the CRG jammer!
- The round where Lady Killher roused the crowd and raised the score to a whopping margin.
- The amazing footwork of the CRG team as a whole.

WINTER BREAK AND TRIP TO CAROLINA
After this first run of four bouts, the girls are ready for a short break, so they're gonna get one. For part of December, the girls will get a break from their 3x/week practices (you don't get this good without a lot of practice people!) to spend some time with their families and friends who've probably come to think that the skates are permanently adhered to their feet.

Then in January, the interleague team will be heading out to Raleigh, NC to return the interleague favor to the Carolina Rollergirls and their fans. The team will take on the CRG team on their home turf and we're sure it'll be another fun battle. If you can get yourself out there to cheer on the Minnesota RollerGirls, you'd find a special place in their hearts.
